OVEN Club

OVEN Club is one of the key addresses for underground electronic music in Valencia, on Gran Vía Germanías at the edge of Ruzafa. It started life as one of the main rooms of La3, a long-standing reference for alternative clubbing in the city, and later moved to its own space in the Ruzafa area. In 2023 it celebrated ten years as one of Valencia's most influential clubs, after surviving the difficult pandemic period.

The club has two separate areas: the main room and a smaller bar space that runs its own DJ programme on many nights, so the line-up is often split between the main floor and the bar. The main draw is the sound, a Funktion-One system combined with visuals and lighting that create an immersive, dark club atmosphere. With a capacity of around 400, it feels intimate rather than huge.

The music is minimal, deep house, house and techno, with a clear preference for underground line-ups. The club likes to balance visiting guests with a strong local base, and residents and regular names such as Pau Pérez, Ladrillovitz, Pin, Blanch, Souleast and Soumz appear regularly. Recurring series include ERA, Total and Disco Sour, and the club also hosts label nights, such as a Rawax 15th anniversary with Robert Drewek and Nacho Marco. In good weather, the OVEN Garden afternoon sessions in the Turia gardens extend the brand outdoors.

The crowd is a mix of local and international clubbers who come for the music, from regulars of the Valencian scene to visitors who check the line-up before travelling. Dress is casual, but the door does pay attention: shorts, flip-flops or arriving visibly drunk can get you turned away. The minimum age is 18, and some nights are announced as 21 and over, so check the event details.

OVEN usually opens from Thursday to Saturday, starting around midnight and running until the early morning. Tickets are sold online through Xceed and the club's own ticket page, and buying in advance is cheaper; prices typically range from about 12 to 20 euros depending on the line-up, with some early tickets including a drink. Arriving reasonably early helps avoid the queue. Ruzafa's bars and restaurants are a few minutes away on foot, which makes dinner and a drink in the neighbourhood an easy warm-up before heading in.
