Loco Club

Loco Club is a live-music venue at Calle Erudit Orellana 12, in Extramurs, just outside the old town. With room for about 300 people it is a small hall, but it is widely regarded as an institution of Valencia's alternative music scene, a place where touring bands, Spanish artists and local newcomers share the same stage throughout the year.

The room is simple and built around the stage, with a full sound system and good acoustics. Being this size, nobody is far from the band. The bar keeps people fed as well as watered: Loco Club is known for its pastrami sandwiches and tacos, which makes it easy to arrive straight from work and stay for the gig.

The programme is busy, with more than 200 concerts a year according to the city tourism board, and eclectic: rock, punk, indie, pop, folk, Americana and soul. The autumn 2026 calendar gives a good idea of the range, with dates by Pacifica, Will Hoge, El Twanguero, Francisca Valenzuela, Kelley Stoltz, Steve Wynn and The Del Fuegos, Sr. Chinarro in January, tribute nights to bands such as Muse, Green Day, The Stone Roses and The Police, and The Jazz Room afternoon sessions.

The audience depends on the bill: young indie and punk fans one night, long-time rock followers the next, plus visitors who check the listings when they are in town. Dress is casual, and the atmosphere is about the music rather than the look. Our listing sets the minimum age at 18, but some concerts have their own age rules, so check the ticket.

Doors usually open in the evening and most concerts start between 20:00 and 21:30; the venue lists opening hours from 19:00 to 03:30. Buy tickets in advance for popular names, as small rooms sell out; prices typically range from about 10 to 25 euros depending on the artist.
