Indiana

Indiana is one of the big names of mainstream clubbing in Valencia, on Calle San Vicente Mártir in Extramurs, just outside the old town. The address has hosted many clubs and parties over the years, and Indiana itself has been a weekend fixture for several generations of Valencians. Today it is part of Grupo Cosmic, the company behind several other well-known city venues.

The club covers more than 2,000 square metres split into three rooms, each with its own atmosphere, so you can move between styles in the same night. Expect a classic big-club setup: strong lighting, visuals and a busy main floor, with VIP tables for groups. With a capacity of around 800, it feels full and lively on good nights without the scale of a festival club.

Music is commercial and Latin: reggaeton, Latin urban, pop hits, house and funky classics. Each night has its own brand and often different rooms running different parties. Thursdays, under the Los Jueves de Indiana name, are aimed at university students, with welcome parties at the start of the academic year. Saturdays, branded Sábados de Indiana, combine series such as Mentirosa, Studio95 in the Studio Room and other room concepts like Superclub, Clandestino and Caviar Club, while Rrroneo nights focus on reggaeton, sometimes with guest artists.

The crowd is young and largely local, with a good share of students and international visitors, and the age limit depends on the party: 18 for most nights, but some Saturday series ask for 20 or even 23. The door policy is on the selective side and the club expects people to dress up, so smart going-out clothes are a safer bet than sportswear. As always, the door staff have the final say.

The club opens around midnight to half past midnight and runs until 07:00, Thursday to Saturday and on the eve of public holidays. Tickets, guest lists and VIP table reservations are handled online through the club's own ticketing page, and buying in advance is usually cheaper than paying at the door; regular entry generally sits in the 10 to 18 euro range depending on the night and the time. Like most Valencia clubs it fills up late, but if you are on a guest list, check the time limit and arrive before it. Being central, it is easy to reach on foot or by taxi from most of the city.
