Committee

Committee is a nightclub at Carrer de Sant Vicent Màrtir, 200, in the Jesús district, south of the old town along one of the long avenues that lead out of the centre. It sits away from the classic party clusters of Ruzafa, El Carmen or the port, so it is a club people head to on purpose rather than one they stumble into while bar-hopping. It opens late, from around midnight, on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and keeps going until about seven in the morning.

Inside, the club is built for dancing rather than lounging: several spaces with wide dance floors, a lot of lighting technology and room for roughly 700 people. The main floor usually plays a commercial mix of house, pop and current hits, while a second, smaller space known as Petit Committee leans towards hip-hop and reggaeton, so a group with different tastes can split up and meet again at the bar. Guest DJs are a regular part of the programme, and the music tends to stick to tracks the room already knows.

Thursday is an important night here. Party brands organised by Grupo Salamandra, such as Koala Party, have used Committee for midweek nights with resident DJs, visuals and special effects, and Fridays and Saturdays follow the same late formula. Programming changes through the year, so check the night before you go.

The crowd tends to be young and up for a long night, with locals and students sharing the floor. Entry is strictly 18 and over, and you will need ID. The dress level is smart: there is no written dress code, but door staff usually expect a tidy look, so leave sports kit, flip-flops and caps at home, and as with most clubs the door has the final say.

Practically, there is little point arriving before one in the morning, since a club that runs until seven only really fills up later. Entry generally costs around €10–€18 depending on the night and whether you are on a guest list, and tables with bottle service are booked in advance through nightlife booking platforms, with listed table prices starting at around €150.
