ÀTIC Palau Alameda

ÀTIC is the rooftop restaurant and bar of Palau Alameda, a building of around 2,700 square metres on the edge of Mestalla that describes itself as one place with three spaces. Next to ÀTIC there is Azza, a club that opens on Friday and Saturday nights, and La Gran Sala, a large hall used for events and themed parties. The shared entrance for ÀTIC and Azza is on Paseo de la Alameda at the corner with Arquitecto Mora, a short walk from Alameda metro station and right across from the old Turia riverbed, now the long park that crosses the city.

The terrace looks over the Alameda and the Turia gardens and faces the sunset, which is the main reason people come up in the early evening. The space is modern and colourful, full of plants, and works as a restaurant at lunch and dinner and as a cocktail bar in between and afterwards. The kitchen is led by chef Nicolás Román, with Mediterranean, locally sourced cooking that mixes traditional Valencian flavours with more creative touches, and there is a broad wine list alongside the cocktails.

Music is part of the plan rather than the whole point. Palau Alameda runs an afterwork slot from Tuesday to Thursday, a tardeo on Friday and Saturday afternoons, late Noche Àtic sessions with DJs, and Bamboleo on Sundays, an afternoon of rumba and flamenco with live musicians. House nights such as ELENCO HOUSE, with guests like Bastian Bux, and a Tuesday language exchange also show up on the calendar, so the mood moves from relaxed lounge to proper party depending on the day.

The crowd is mostly local: after-work groups, couples, friends celebrating something, plus visitors who come for the view. Guests need to be 18 or over for the evening sessions. There is no strict written dress code, but people usually make a bit of an effort here; smart casual works well, while beachwear or sports kit will feel out of place.

For dinner or a sunset table, book through the Palau Alameda website or by phone, especially from Friday to Sunday. Prices generally sit around €10–€18 depending on the night and the event, while special dates and group menus are priced separately, and tickets for parties at Azza or La Gran Sala are sold through the venue's own ticket page.
